Toronto Blue Jays Cel

This collector’s item is a limited-edition Toronto Blue Jays Cel based on a cross-promotion between Warner Bros. and Major League Baseball (“MLB”).

It features six Looney Tunes characters celebrating the Toronto baseball team (Blue Jays). The background is a colorful lithographic baseball field.

Over the background is a celluloid sheet (referred to as a “cel”) with the Looney Tunes cartoon characters wonderfully hand-drawn and hand-inked.

Bugs Bunny, Foghorn Leghorn, Henery Hawk, Sylvester, Sylvester Jr., and the Tasmanian Devil are all in baseball attire and jumping for joy with signs that say “Back-To-Back World Champs ’92 – ’93 Toronto Blue Jays”.

The bottom of the cel has the MLB seal, the signature of the artist (McKimson), and the edition number (#15 out of 125). In addition, attached to the back of the cel is the Certificate of Authenticity (“COA”).

The COA has the MLB logo, McKimson’s signature, and the limited-edition number. Furthermore, the Toronto Blue Jays Cel is in excellent condition. It measures approximately 10.5″ W x 10.4″ H.
