Superman Coin Stamp Litho Set

This collector’s item was a Warner Bros. Studio Stores limited-edition (only 1250 were made). It commemorates the 32¢ stamp issued in 1998 by the United States Postal Service (“USPS”), which features the “Man of Tomorrow” cover image from the 1938 Superman comic archives. Consequently, the set is titled “Stamping Out Injustice Since 1938”. In addition, the Superman Coin Stamp Litho Set is in excellent condition and includes the following:

  • Large sketch of the 1938 Superman in the background
  • Custom Superman gold-tone coin
  • Official USPS Superman stamp on an original First Day of Issue envelope
  • Lithograph of the Superman stamp with the original Action Comics logo
  • Silver-plated frame with a glass cover

The USPS issued the Superman stamp as part of their Celebrate the Century stamp series. The series reflected on historical events that contributed to shaping the last 100 years. They were broken down into decades with each decade consisting of 15 stamps. One of the 1930s stamps.
