Rare 40s Coventry Figurine Set

This precious collector's item is a pair of Coventry Ware 8" porcelain figurines in matching outfits as follows:

1. Boy wearing a gray hat, a red vest, and grey pants with his hands in his pockets while he looks at a pretty girl (5009B)
2. Pretty blond girl wearing a grey and red dress with her hands behind her back looking shyly away from the boy (5008B)

On bottoms of one shoe for both figurines, is the "Coventry Made in U.S.A." maker's mark. This Rare 40s Coventry Figurine Set has been sitting untouched in the same cabinet for many years, so they are in near-mint condition (no chips, cracks, or scratches but not in the original box).
