Open 7 Days Sign

This collectible item is a novelty metal Open 7 Days Sign designed by Mark Lueck. The top says, “Open 7 Days” with an image of a car mechanic that has bloodshot eyes from working long hours who is lightings his cigar with a welding torch.

The lower half of the sign says, “Shop Hours – OPEN: When we’re here!”, then “CLOSED: When we ain’t!”. This sign was distributed by Mighty Image, Inc. in 2004.

Lueck is an automotive artist who has been drawing hot rods and race cars since he was a child. Currently, he is the owner of an art and design studio located in East County San Diego, California. He is well known for his air-brushing, pin-striping, renderings, fine art oil paintings, and garage art.

He has completed airbrush and graphic design projects for the National Hot Rod Association Museum (“NHRA”), as well as for drag racer Don Prudhomme, Tom McEwen, and Shirley Muldowney. Additionally, Lueck’s art can be seen at The Heritage Of The American’s Museum in Rancho San Diego.

The Open 7 Days Sign is in excellent condition. It makes a fun gift for all types of shop owners.
