Mills Gum Vending Machine
This collector’s item is an original vintage 1920s chrome 1¢ coin-operated gum dispenser with 6 columns, a pull tab.
It was made by the Mills Automatic Merchandising Corp.
It measures approximately 16″ tall x 10″ wide x 5″ deep and weighs about 15 pounds. In addition, some of the original gum is still inside: Beech Nut Spearment Gum and Fleer Dubble Bubble (Goofy Gifts) Gum.
This vending machine was originally mounted on a stand and was located on a platform of the railway station in the New York subways during the 1920s to provide refreshments.
Furthermore, the Mills Gum Vending Machine is in near-mint excellent condition. This item is a great investment and makes a great gift for collectors and New York history buffs
