Coke Music Vending Machine
This Advertiser Collectible is a miniature model of a 1970s Coca-Cola Vendo canned beverage vending machine. The top of the machine is white and the bottom is red. On the front, it says "Drink Coca-Cola in Bottles" and on both sides it says "Have a Coke".
In addition, on the front, there is a long thin vertical door that opens up to a column of nine tiny coke bottles, a slot for inserting a dime (¢10), a chrome door handle, a bottle opener, and a coin return tray.
The Coke Music Vending Machine opens up when the door handle is swiveled down to the left. On the other side of the door, there is a small compartment that holds the deposited coins.
Also inside the machine, there are nine rows of five tiny soda bottles in each row. There is a black button on the back of the machine that when pressed moves the bottles.
Additionally, when you drop a dime in the slot, the machine makes the sound of a Coke being poured into a glass. Also, when the door is opened, it plays an excerpt from the song "It's The Real Thing" from the 1972 musical Coke commercial.
This item (model CK 66802) was released by Enesco in 1994. It is made of metal, measures approximately 3.5" W x 3.5" D x 7.5" H, and uses two AA batteries that are not included.
Furthermore, it is in near-mint condition. The Coke Music Vending Machine makes a great gift for collectors and Coca-Cola enthusiasts. See it live on our YouTube Channel.
