Coca-Cola 1891 Calendar Tray
This rare vintage Advertiser Collectible is a limited edition aqua-colored metal serving tray (C110) featuring a January 1891 Coca-Cola calendar with a 19th Century female holding a wooden racquet.
On the front of the Coca-Cola 1891 Calendar Tray it says:
ADDRESS ASA G. CANDLER & CO.,
47 PEACHTREE STREET, ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Asa Griggs Candler (1851-1929) was an American Prescriptionist who founded The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia in 1892 after buying the soda recipe from Chemist, John Pemberton.
On the back of the tray, it says (written in Italian but I translated it to English):
This tray, produced in a limited series, reproduces the very first Coca-Cola calendar released way back in 1891.

The originals, now extremely rare, are highly sought after by collectors of Coca-Cola memorabilia.
This first series of trays features the Coca-Cola calendars of the years 1891, 1900 and 1901.
The artwork was created by Calvert Lithograph Company (founded in 1863) which was the largest color printing firm in the country producing the finest late 19th Century lithos.
The Coca-Cola 1891 Calendar Tray is in fair condition. There are some small rust spots and a few scratches on the tray and two small dents on the left side.
