Presenting the Collectible Chick Hearn Bobblehead.

Out of stock

Chick Hearn KLAC Bobblehead. A rare collectible based on the legendary Chick Hearn (November 1916 – August 2002). It was distributed by KLAC radio station (AM 570) to commemorate Hearns 25th Anniversary as a KLAC broadcaster. Accordingly, he is wearing a suit and holding a microphone. This collector’s item stands approximately 6″ tall. Because it is still in the original box (taken out of the box only once to take a photo), it is in mint condition.

Chick Hearn was a beloved sports announcer for the National Basketball Association. Specifically, the Los Angeles Lakers. In addition, he was famous for his play-by-play rapid-fire and staccato style broadcasting. Hearn came up with the popular catch-phrases “slam dunk”, “air ball”, and “no harm, no foul”. Furthermore, he was also a boxing commentator and a long-time host of KLAC’s Bowling for Dollars. More importantly, Chick Hearn was the recipient of many awards. Watch this YouTube video of the Chick Hearn 3000th Broadcast Ceremony. He even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an area by the Staples Center named after him (“Chick Hearn Court”). The Chick Hearn KLAC Bobblehead makes a great gift for Chick Hearn fans, Lakers Fans, and Broadcasters.
