Batman Trading Cards Sheet

This collector’s item was issued in 1994 by SkyBox international. It is a framed uncut sheet of 100 premium standard size DNA cards (including 1 index card). Since only 500 of these were produced, it is a limited-edition. Together they depict the entire story of the DC Comics superhero, Batman. Consequently, the title of this art piece is “Batman: Saga of the Dark Knight”.

The trading cards depict Batman’s evolution from the very beginning up to and including his rebirth. Some of the comic book stories included are “Year One”, “Birth Of The Joker”, “A Death In The Family”, “Nemesis”, and “Knightfall”. In addition, on the back of the cards, there is a small rendering of the cover of the comic book referenced (embedded biological link to the subject on the front).

Furthermore, the cards have wonderfully detailed illustrations. For example, on the Robin “A Death In The Family” cards, the Joker bears an amazing resemblance to Jack Nicholson. The uncut sheet comes in a black frame. The frame is reversible because both sides of the frame have light-weight plexiglass. This way you can see both the front and the back of the trading cards in the sheet.

In addition, a Certificate of Authenticity is included. The measurements are approximately 41″ tall x 2″ deep x 31″ wide. This collector’s item has never been displayed. Therefore, it is in excellent condition. The Batman Trading Cards Sheet is a great gift to give collectors and Batman fans.
