8-hour Paint And Body Sign
This collectible item is a novelty metal 8-hour Paint And Body Sign designed by Mark Lueck. The sign is predominantly yellow and orange. At the top, it says "8 hour" with the number 8 conveyed by a billiard ball (the "8-ball").
Just below that, it says "Paint & Body" with an image of a wild auto body spray painter next to a muscle car then "We guarantee your car to look good from eight feet away, after eight o'clock at night".
Lueck (well-known for his air-brushing, pin-striping, renderings, fine art oil paintings, and garage art) is an automotive artist who has been drawing hot rods and race cars since he was a child.
Currently, he is the owner of an art and design studio located in East County San Diego, California, and his art can be seen at The Heritage Of The American’s Museum in Rancho San Diego.
He has completed airbrush and graphic design projects for the National Hot Rod Association Museum ("NHRA"), as well as for drag racer Don Prudhomme, Tom McEwen, and Shirley Muldowney.
The 8-hour Paint And Body Sign is in mint condition and it would make a terrific gift for auto body shop owners, paint technicians, airbrushing specialists, and car enthusiasts.
