50s Puppy Love Hummel Figurine

This sweet collector's item is a late 1950s earthenware 5" ceramic figurine of a young boy playing his violin for a little puppy dog. The base of the figurine has:

  • Bottom says "Germany"
  • Bottom is marked as "1"
  • Side of base says M.I.Hummel
  • Bottom has a large bumblebee inside a "V"
  • Bottom also has other markings which I can't read

Also, this 50s Puppy Love Hummel Figurine has been sitting untouched in the same cabinet for about 67 years, so it's in near-mint condition (no chips, cracks, or scratches but not in the original box).
