1869 Christmas Carol in Prose
This treasured collector's item is an antique green hardcover Charles Dickens book titled "Christmas Carol in Prose being A Ghost Story of Christmas" published in 1869 by Ticknor and Fields. Its features are:
- Gilded page edges
- Gilt-lettering on front cover
- Gilt-lettering on the spine
- Black and white illustrations
- Loose tissue paper inserts to protect illustrations
The 1869 Christmas Carol in Prose book is used and it is in fair condition. The opening page has a hand-written dedication, there are no missing pages, and all the pages are still in good condition (no tears).
In addition, even though all the pages are still bound together, the pages have been separated from the backing and spine (see pic) but the spine is still in good condition.
