Description

1815 Military Gun Case Table

This rare Militaria is from the early 19th Century. It is an antique 1815 rectangular wooden case that is hand-painted and lacquered and has a keyhole, green felt-lined interior, brass handle, and a brass-hinged lid.

On the lid, it says "Charge of the Scots Greys" over a scene from the attack by the Royal Scots Greys cavalry regiment on the French 45th infantry during the battle at Waterloo.

This 1815 Military Gun Case Table has some wear consistent with being an antique such as scratches and fade spots (see pictures) but it doesn't have any dents or cracks.

Also, a key is not included (and guns in picture are not included). Considering its age, this item is in excellent condition. It is the perfect gift for antique collectors.
