A Collector's Journey
Vic started collecting when he was a child and the first thing he collected was Hot Wheels. Shortly thereafter, he also began collecting other toy car brands
Throughout the years, Vic's interest in collecting never waivered. He loved collecting so much that he amased many different types of collections (the majority of the items were never even removed from their original packaging)
After 40 years of being an avid collector, an optometrist told Vic that he had an incurable degenerative eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa that was quickly progressing. First, Vic lost his night vision. Then he lost his peripheral vision. Sadly, now Vic is totally blind... unable to see ANY light whatsoever... living in darkness
At first, despair consumed him; he couldn’t fathom a life without seeing. It especially saddened him that he would never again see all his collectible treasures. Yet, one day, it occured to him that if he opened a collectibles store, at least others could enjoy the items he once delighted in collecting
So Vic met with his fellow collector and long-time friend, Melissa, and he asked her if she would be interested in opening a collectibles store with him. Melissa agreed and she worked night and day to make it happen and on April 4, 2018, Collectibles And More In-Store opened its doors to the public
Since its inception, the store has been busy. It continues to attract new customers and has built a loyal following of enthusiasts who see the store as their go-to place for finding top-notch diecast cars, Coca-Cola memorabilia, DC Comics collectibles, comic book and animation art, bobbleheads, embroidered patches, and other amazing collectibles
