About Our Collectibles Store Co-owner, Vic:

"I am the original owner of Collectibles And More In-Store. I have been an avid collector for 50 years. My interest in collecting began on my 8th birthday when my Uncle gave me my first Hot Wheels.

It was the "sweet 16" custom Mustang released that same year (1969). Even though it screamed to me, "let's drag race", my Uncle suggested to me that I consider it a treasure and keep it in its packaging unopened. I did just that.

My Uncle, who owned a service center, was very passionate about cars. So when he gave me the Hot Wheel, he went into great detail about the pony car's engine and I was instantly intrigued.

Cars became a huge part of my life. I've loved working on them, driving them, and collecting small versions of them. As you can imagine, after all these years, my diecast cars collection is massive.

Also, as I grew older, my interests widened and I started additional collections which include Coca-Cola collectibles, DC Comics collectibles, Funko Bobbleheads, memorabilia (movie, music, and sports), and limited edition comic book art and animation art.

I got further into collecting when I inherited a postage stamps collection from my neighbor that includes stamps from all over the world, after which I also started collecting:

• Coins
• Keychains
• Watches
• Cookie Jars
• Swords/Knives
• Embroidered Patches
• Vintage Lunch Boxes
• Sports Trading Cards

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a collector because it made me feel good when I looked at everything I had acquired, not just because the collectibles look great, but also because they represent characters, people, places, events, and eras that have had an effect on me and my generation.

Additionally, I have learned a lot being a collector. When I researched the items, I discovered unique, intriguing stories behind the physical items which makes them even more interesting.

Those stories not only add value to the collectibles themselves, but also deepens our personal connection to the past. By owning collectibles, we own a piece of history that we can share with future generations.

In addition to it being a fun hobby, it was also extremely rewarding when I found a particular item I needed for my collection. Those are just a few of the reasons I've been a collector and I'm going to miss it.

Several years ago, I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa which has left me completely blind. It's been a struggle coming to terms with the harsh reality that I will never see again.

Consequently, I am no longer able to enjoy the items I once delighted in collecting. That's why I decided to open a Collectibles Store. Hence the birth of Collectibles And More In-Store which is now my main focus (no pun intended).

Now others can have the opportunity to enjoy the awesome collectibles that I have acquired. A great thing About Our Collectibles Store is that a large majority of the items we sell are brand new and still in their original packaging.

A smaller percentage of the items are used but are still in fantastic condition. Only a few of the used items show some wear. Because we carry both new and used items, our product descriptions include the item's condition as being one of the following:

• Mint: never used; in perfect condition; in its original packaging
• Near-Mint: never used or barely used; looks new; may or may not be in original packaging; packaging may show some wear
• Excellent: somewhat used; minor signs of wear (i.e. color loss); may or may not have the original packaging
• Great: used; has some signs of wear (i.e. color loss, scrapes); not in original packaging
• Good: used; some defects (i.e. color loss, scratches, rust, dents); not in original packaging

For nearly 14 years, I worked with Warner Bros. as the Director of Contract Administration whereby I negotiated and prepared license agreements that granted companies the right to use the following intellectual properties on consumer products:

• Lorimar: Lorimar movies and television shows
• DC Comics: DC comic books and MAD magazine mascot
• Warner Bros: WB movies, television shows, and books
• Turner: Turner and MGM movies and television shows and Hanna-Barbera cartoons

While working in the Warner Bros. Consumer Products division, I also prepared promotional license agreements with major licensees including the McDonald's Corporation and The Coca-Cola Company.

Many of the items for sale in our Online Collectibles Store were acquired directly from the artist, the licensed company, the Warner Bros. Studio Store, or DC Comics when I was an employee at Warner Bros.

A few years ago, Vic approached me about opening an Online Collectibles Store together and I happily jumped on board. I've known Vic for 45 years and hunting for Collectibles has forever been our common interest, consulting with each other on acquisitions to add to our various collections.

As the store's co-owner, I designed and maintain this Online Collectibles Store. In doing so, I take photos of every item, I compose the item descriptions, and I write the articles for our Online Collectibles Store blog.

In addition, I continually update all of the store's social media profiles and I manage the inventory.
